能美市における多文化共生・国際交流事業は、能美市国際交流協会と観光交流課が連携協力して展開しています。新体制のもと外国人と日本人の相互理解や市内の子どもたちの国際理解の推進など、これまでの交流活動をより充実させて活動しています。その一つに、市内に15ヵ所ある保育園への訪問があります。幼少期から学びや遊びを通して異文化を知り、国際感覚を養うことはとても大切です。協会では、これからのグローバル社会に対応しうる子どもの育成に繋がる取り組みを促進していきます。
訪問の時は外国人職員が外国の文化や事情を紹介し、外国の遊びを通して園児と交流します。また、一緒にお昼を食べながら率直な話をし、身近な国際交流の機会を一人ひとりの園児に与えます。

In Nomi city, multiculturalism and international exchange activities are conducted in close cooperation of Nomi International Exchange Association and Nomi city Tourism and Exchange Division. Under this new system we strive to make exchanges even more substantial, promoting mutual understanding between foreigners and Japanese, and promoting international understanding among the city’s children. One of the activities is visiting all 15 nursery schools of the city. It is very important to build up international feeling and to know different cultures by means of learning and play from young age. The Association aspires to prepare children for the future global society.
During visits to the nursery schools, foreign employees introduce foreign culture and different information about foreign countries, they establish communication with children through foreign games. Having a lunch together with children they directly talk to each of the children and provide each one with an opportunity to feel international exchanges very close to them.
