第2回わくわくワールド in 能美は、12月8日防犯についての講習を能美警察署の署員の方にしていただきました。参加者は51名。普段入ることができない道場で、身を守るための護身術を教えていただき、外国人だけでなく日本人や子供たちも真剣に学びました。
講習後はパトカーの見学や警察官と写真撮影をしたり、みなさんとても楽しそうでした。
これで、警察署が怖いところではないということがわかってもらえたと思います。これから何か困った時、トラブルが起きた時は一人で悩まず能美署に来て相談してみてくださいね。

On December, 8 at “NIEA Exiting World in Nomi” we had a lecture about crime prevention from employees of Nomi police station. There were 51 participants. We were guided to a dojo (training hall) where civilians are not admitted usually, where we tried self-defense techniques. Not only the foreigners, but Japanese citizens and children were serious in studying these.
After the training we took a close look at a patrol car and took some pictures with police officers, everybody seemed to enjoy.
We believe that this opportunity had taught the participants that police station is not a scary place and that in case of any trouble it is good to consult there, not just worry on one’s own.
