2/16(日)　寺井地区公民館で ‘まなびフェスタ2020’　『世界を学ぼう！　～エッ!と驚く発見が～(^ ^)』が開催され、64名の方が参加しました。
参加者は3つのグループに分かれて、ベトナム・タイ・バングラデシュ・中国・ロシア・日本の6つのブースをまわり交流を深めました。タイと中国のブースでは日本の’お手玉’に似た遊びを、ロシアブースでは‘蜘蛛とハエ’という日本の‘だるまさんが転んだ’と似ている遊びなどを体験。国は違っても共通した遊びがあることやバングラデシュの国旗と日本の国旗がよく似ている事などを発見。
ベトナムのバンブーダンスでは体験者だけでなく見学の人も多いに盛り上がり、最後は参加者全員で手をつないで『幸せなら手を叩こう』を歌いながらダンス。楽しいひと時を過ごしました。

At the “2020 Learning Festival” held on Sunday February, 16 our Association has conducted an experience class “Learn the World! –Surprising discoveries await–(^ ^)” at Terai District Public Hall. There were 64 participants.
The participants divided into 3 groups and went around 6 booths representing countries: Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, China, Russia and Japan. At Thai and Chinese booths, among other things, they experienced games similar to Japanese “Otedama”, and at a Russian booth a game called “A spider and a fly” similar to Japanese game of “Daruma-san ga koronda”. There were many discoveries, like similarities in games despite of the fact that countries are different, or that national flags of Bangladesh and Japan are similar.
For the Vietnamese bamboo dance both participants and viewers were very excited. Lastly, all the participants joined hands to sing and dance “If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands”. We had so much fun!

毎週土曜日開催のみんなの日本語クラス（根上会場）のチャン・ヴァン・ソンさんが2月8日（土）に開催した第３８回石川県外国人日本語スピーチコンテストに参加しました。
ソンさんはベトナム出身で、日本滞在期間は4年です。
スピーチのテーマは「日本での生活における日本語の大切さ」です。このビデオは事前練習の時に撮影しました。

Tran Van Son san from JAIST Japanese class conducted on Tuesdays participated in the 38th Annual Japanese Speech Contest for Foreign Resident
in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Son san is from Vietnam, and he has been living in Japan for 4 ears.
His speech theme is “The importance of Japanese language when living in Japan”. The video was taken when he had preliminary practice speaking. Please, take a look!

Representatives of International Sakai visited Nomi International Exchange Association

1月28日（火）、インターナショナルさかいの視察団の3名が福井県坂井市から能美市を訪れ、協会事務所を視察し、懇談会を行いました。
一行は協会事務所を訪れ、和やかな雰囲気の中で、能美市協会のプレゼンテーションをして、質疑応答をしました。坂井市は現在、市国際交流協会の設立の準備が進み、近隣市町の協会の様子をうかがって視察で回っているそうです。皆さんは、能美市の協会設立背景、行政との関わりに熱心な興味を示し、坂井市の現状と比べながら話し合いをしました。

On Tuesday January, 28 3 representatives of International Sakai Association visited Nomi city. They did an inspection of NIEA office and we also conducted a discussion session.
The visiting group took a look at the NIEA office, and then we had a relaxed discussion meeting where out Association did a presentation about our main activities, and then did a questions-and answers session. In Sakai city they are now proceeding with foundation of a city International Exchange Association, so they are going around to neighbor cities and towns to inspect other Associations. Representatives of Sakai city showed much interest in Nomi city Association’s foundation background and relations with the city administration. We had a discussion comparing both cities' present conditions.
